We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Mark Tennant's team supporting our internal Edinburgh office environment and assisting with client infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Windows Server and networking skills.

Key responsibilities include: day-to-day management of our Windows Server 2019/2022 environment; WSUS patch management and deployment; FortiGate firewall rule administration and log review; Cisco Meraki wireless management via cloud dashboard; support and maintenance of legacy clinical systems including Windows Server 2008 R2 environments that cannot be immediately decommissioned due to application dependencies; first and second-line helpdesk escalation support.

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Rachel Burns's team is expanding and we are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support our Azure environment and RateCare360 platform. This role sits at the centre of our digital transformation programme and is ideal for someone who has experience bridging on-premises Active Directory environments with Azure cloud services.

Key responsibilities include: day-to-day administration of our Azure subscription and Entra ID tenant; management of Azure AD Connect (AAD Connect) synchronisation between on-premises RATEBAY.LOCAL domain and Azure AD; Conditional Access policy configuration and MFA rollout (we are currently mid-rollout across legacy admin accounts); Azure Blob Storage management and access control review; Azure App Service administration for RateCare360; service principal and managed identity management; Azure Security Centre and Defender for Cloud monitoring.

HL7 / Clinical Integration Specialist

We are seeking a clinical integration specialist to work alongside James Fletcher, supporting our HL7 messaging infrastructure and the integration between RateCare360 and NHS Digital data feeds. This is a niche but critical role — if you have experience with healthcare integration engines, particularly Mirth Connect, we want to hear from you.

Junior Systems Administrator

Information Governance & Compliance Analyst

Supporting Priya Nair and Aisha Khan, this role assists with Ratebay's information governance programme including GDPR compliance, the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) annual submission, and ISO 27001 audit support. This is a growing area of the business as our client base and regulatory obligations expand.

Key responsibilities include: assisting with the annual DSPT submission and evidence gathering; maintaining the data asset register and processing activity records; managing Subject Access Request workflows; supporting the ISO 27001 internal audit programme (certification renewal due Q1 2025); reviewing data processing agreements with NHS clients and suppliers including our third-party IT support providers; assisting with information security risk assessments.

Essential: Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018; experience with NHS DSP Toolkit or similar compliance frameworks; attention to detail; ability to communicate complex requirements to non-specialist stakeholders.
