Chief Executive Officer
Sarah founded Ratebay Care Technologies in 2012 following 15 years in NHS clinical informatics. She holds a PhD in Health Informatics from the University of Edinburgh and serves on the Scottish Digital Health & Care Board. She is a regular speaker at NHS Digital and DigitalHealth.London events.

Head of IT & Infrastructure
Mark oversees all internal and client-facing IT infrastructure at Ratebay. He joined in 2016 from NHS Lothian where he led a team responsible for clinical network infrastructure across four hospital sites. Mark holds CISSP and Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certifications and is currently leading Ratebay's digital transformation programme.

Data Protection Officer
Priya is Ratebay's registered Data Protection Officer (ICO registration ZA812944). She is responsible for GDPR compliance, data processing agreements with NHS clients, and Subject Access Request handling. Priya has a background in healthcare law and previously practised as a solicitor specialising in information governance. She joined Ratebay in 2019.

Clinical Systems Support Lead
James manages clinical system deployments across Ratebay's GP practice clients and is the primary technical contact for NHS Digital integration feeds. He has been with Ratebay since 2014 and previously worked in NHS Tayside clinical informatics.
Rachel Burns
Rachel Burns
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Rachel leads Ratebay's Azure infrastructure team, responsible for the RateCare360 platform environment, Entra ID configuration, and the ongoing cloud migration programme. She holds Microsoft Azure Administrator and Security Engineer certifications.
David McAllister
David McAllister
Senior Network Engineer
David is responsible for Ratebay's internal network infrastructure, including our FortiGate perimeter security, Cisco Meraki wireless estate, and third-party connectivity agreements. He manages vendor relationships including our IT support partner ClearConnect Systems.
Aisha Khan
Aisha Khan
Information Governance Manager
Aisha supports Priya Nair in managing Ratebay's compliance obligations under GDPR, the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), and ISO 27001. She coordinates the annual DSPT submission and manages client data processing agreements.

Operations Team

Our operations and finance team keeps Ratebay running smoothly and manages our supplier and client relationships.

Accounts Payable

Sandra manages supplier invoicing and payment processing. For accounts queries, email accounts@ratebay.co.uk.

Operations Manager

Tom oversees day-to-day operations, facilities management, and HR liaison for Ratebay's Edinburgh office.

Claire Sutherland
Client Success Manager

Claire is the primary point of contact for NHS GP practice clients using RateCare360. She manages onboarding, training, and ongoing client relationships.

IT Helpdesk
Internal IT Support

For internal IT support, use the support portal or call ext. 2100. Out-of-hours requests are handled by ClearConnect Systems.
