Edinburgh, Scotland — 22 July 2024. Ratebay Care Technologies is proud to announce that RateCare360, its cloud-hosted patient administration platform, has been formally approved as an NHS Digital Approved Supplier for patient administration systems following a comprehensive technical and security assessment.
The approval process, which began in January 2024, involved a detailed review of RateCare360's clinical data handling, information governance controls, integration capabilities with NHS Spine-connected services, and compliance with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT). Ratebay's assessment was led by James Fletcher, Clinical Systems Support Lead, and Priya Nair, Data Protection Officer.
The approved supplier status enables NHS GP practices and other NHS-adjacent healthcare providers to procure RateCare360 via the NHS Digital framework without the need for individual procurement exercises, significantly simplifying the buying process.
